Your audio stays on your device.
Audio handling and website measurements are separate.
Audio and saved work
Recordings are decoded and analysed in your browser. Microphone input is used live and is not recorded. Chromelo saves artwork settings and analysis on this device so you can return to your work. Choose the original recording again to hear saved artwork.
Sharing
When sharing is available, creating a link sends artwork data, a preview image and any title you choose to include to the server. It does not send the recording. Links expire after 30 days and can be removed using the link controls on the device that created them.
Performance measurements
Vercel Speed Insights collection is currently off. If enabled later with the required permission, it will measure page loading and responsiveness separately from audio processing. Measurements can include a page route, browser and device information, network type, country and the page element associated with a timing measurement. Queries, private share pages and audio workspaces are excluded by the prepared integration. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track block collection.
Product analytics
Product analytics are currently off. When enabled, they record actions such as playback and export. They exclude audio, filenames and private share identifiers, and respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.
Hosting
Vercel serves this website and receives the network information needed to handle requests. Its privacy notice describes how it handles that information.
